I wish the photos were from the country and years where the RPCV credited with the photo actually served.
Great 2016 calendar

Having had a calendar and giving them away as presents for 20 years, this is a great one with excellent design, and photos that you like to look at for a month! Thanks to Sue and Lisa
I love it!

I've been getting these calendars for over 20 years now, and I love them. They are filled with vibrant pictures and information. Because I am a physician with an active practice, I can't travel like I would want to, so these calendars connect me with the world, especially a world that is in turmoil in so many places.
Bringing the wider world to my office

Years ago a client introduced me to your calendar. That next year I began ordering one for my office. I'm a clinical social worker in SW Ohio. It is a small way for me to bring the wider world to my office. I enjoy the photos, the descriptions and the reminders of the location of the countries! My clients have often commented on the calendar's beautiful photos. Sometimes my clients have traveled to a featured country. For others, it has been their home country. Your calendar serves as a daily reminder that we are all truly connected.

I have been a fan of the RPCV calendar since its inception. Thoroughly enjoy everything about it: quality photos, country information, international holidays, daily details, assorted facts and geographical data.

The calendar is always filled with wonderful photos of beautiful and interesting people from all around the world. Also, it is filled with interesting information that I find very exciting. My son and daughter-in-law both served in the Peace Corps and this is a way to feel connected. Thanks so very much for sharing with us.

My sister was in the Peace Corp in 1997. We have been ordered calendars for as long as I can remember. What an awesome way to learn more about our world.
2016 International Calendar
Posted by Steve Manning on Dec 2nd 2015
As always with Peace Corps international calendars, the 2016 version is interesting and full of information. I do think this as well as previous ones tends to be slanted toward host country nationals in places and situations with maximum emphasis on differences in appearance from typical American ones, and on rural rather than urban situations, reinforcing "backward" stereotypes of countries in which Peace Corps serves. I think many host country nationals would prefer more emphasis on modernization and urban settings rather than bush ones. Also, the picture on the cover is the least attractive of all the pictures in the calendar. So in summary, keep up the great work but also expand upon it in the future!
