Product Description
The 2025 International Calendar: The Importance of Support
The International Calendar is a beautiful wall calendar that shines a light on countries where Peace Corps Volunteers serve or have served. Each day lists holidays, holy days, or special events celebrated somewhere around the world.
The 2025 International Calendar cover is a gorgeous photo from Madagascar, with the following countries are featured inside: Kenya, Namibia, Bolivia, Ghana, Mongolia, Argentina, Niger, and Poland—and for the first time ever in the calendar: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vietnam, Albania, and Libya.
Published every year since 1988 by the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) of Wisconsin-Madison, the International Calendar is an important part of the Third Goal efforts of RPCVs across the country.
International Calendar researchers consult solar, lunar, and astronomical calendars to determine the dates of important events each year. From holy days to important civic dates to local market days, the International Calendar is rich in information and cultural diversity. You’ll find demographic information for each featured country, as well as suggested recipes, films, books, and music to explore. For lists of current and past suggestions, click on the "Cultural Resources" button or check out our "Educator Resources".
You can purchase the 2025 International Calendar and related notecards from the calendar directly from us, but you might be able to support an RPCV group near you by buying from them.
